Cataract Surgery in Reading - A considered approach to clearer vision
Cataracts often develop gradually. You may notice that your vision is no longer as clear as it once was, even when your glasses prescription has been updated.
You may experience:
-
Hazy or blurred vision
-
Glare or halos around lights
-
Difficulty driving at night
-
Reduced contrast or difficulty seeing detail
-
Colours appearing less vivid
-
Increasing difficulty reading
-
Greater reliance on glasses
-
Everyday activities becoming less comfortable
These changes can be subtle at first.
A comprehensive assessment with an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist can establish whether cataracts are responsible for your symptoms and whether cataract surgery could be appropriate for you.
