Mr Kumar will perform a detailed dilated examination to assess the retina and establish a diagnosis. Using advanced scans and imaging, he will then recommend the most appropriate management, which may include careful monitoring, injections, laser treatment, or eye drops.
Certain eye conditions, such as AMD and diabetic macular oedema, may require a course of injections to resolve the fluid build-up at the back of the eye. There are several options available for the type of injection, which can be discussed in further detail during your consultation.
